Hey Lawyer Man! You seemed surprised when I showed up for the paralegal position. There was quite a few women who were eager for the job opening. Once you laid eyes on me, it was game over for the other highly qualified ladies. Before I could even tell you that I hadn’t finished school yet and had very little experience you were quick to hire me. You seemed very intrigued when I told you that I’m a team player and I have no problem working late evenings.
I was shocked you mentioned you were giving me a higher salary than advertised right after I explained to you that I was let go at my old job because of not following dress code policy. My old boss was a female and always thought I was a threat. She would hear stories about me with the other co/workers and she got completely jealous. She was looking for any excuse to get rid of her competition.
You adjust your pants as you get up from your leather chair, you tell me that I would be the perfect fit for this job and you can’t wait to work with me. You have no idea what’s in store for you. Satisfying the boss is my number one priority.
