I get a call from school. The school nurse says that you’re sick with tummy troubles.
I rush over to school and head to the nurse’s office. As soon as I see you, I kiss your forehead and brush my soft hand against your cheek. You don’t have a fever. You don’t look pale. Actually, you’re flushed and you seem agitated. You’re in rush to get out of the building.
On the drive home, I inquire about your day. I was thinking there was test or something that you’re trying to get out of and you developed a mysterious tummy ache?
You convince me that you’re truly sick, and I as soon as pull into the driveway, I tell you, no tv and no phone. I tell you to get your pajamas on and climb into Mommy’s bed.
I make you a cup of herbal tea and bring it to you in my bed. I tell you to sit up and drink it slowly. The tea will help your tummy ache.
You’re so fidgety. You seem unable to find a comfortable spot. Maybe I should take you to the doctor? I ask you to show my where it hurts, but you don’t answer. You’re blushing and embarrassed.
I realize that you have a stiffy inside your pj bottoms. Now it’s perfectly clear. You have quite an erection. Mommy crawls into bed with you and promises to teach you how to make it all better.
